About Greg Lowe

Greg Lowe is a Bangkok-based editor and journalist with 11 years publishing experience.

He previously worked in Bristol, England, at The Big Issue South West, where he became chief news reporter, going on to edit the street-level music magazine Synergy, and doing subbing stints at Future Publishing.

In 2001, he decided to cycle off into the mountains of Mongolia, Tibet, Nepal and Thailand.

Since settling in Thailand in 2002, he has been the features editor at Metro magazine, managing editor of Asia Books Magazine (Thailand’s only English-language books magazine) and general manager for International Media at B2S, as well as writing columns in the local press.

Greg works at Bangkok Post, is the Bangkok correspondent for The Business Times (Singapore), and writes business, news and lifestyle stories for a wide range of local and regional publications including World Politics Review, Asia Sentinel, Thailand Property Report, Director Thailand, South China Morning Post and AsiaLIFEGuide.

In addition to print and online media, Greg works as a publishing consultant for Marshall Cavendish International (Asia). Their first project Buddhist Temples of Thailand: A Visual Journey Through Thailand’s 40 Most Historic Wats by Joe Cummings and Dan White was published in February 2010.
